Judges’ Citation:
This research response by Celia Hall of Victoria University of Wellington is to the dynamic human-induced changes in Pauatahanui Inlet, including sedimentation. Her aim is to align the design with interactions within the harbour to provide boardwalks, bird-hides, lookouts and a marine centre that are co-created with residents. The goal is to enable climate change resilience for fauna and flora of the tidal fringe.
