Boffa Miskell 23/03/2017
On Wednesday 22nd March the NZILA Auckland Branch held their 2x2 event kindly hosted by Boffa Miskell and sponsored by Contrax Ltd. The event brought together a mix of young professionals and senior LA’s to present a series of exciting projects they have recently been working on.
John Potter opened the evening welcoming guests to the new and recently expanded Boffa Miskell Studio. John also introduced our principal sponsor Contrax Ltd and provided some background on their business and projects.
The event was well attended with over 68 people present on the night and twenty-three 2x2 presentations. Projects ranged from park design and open space design, to urban development, cultural landscapes and infrastructure projects. All at various stages of the design process; concept, construction and completed projects.
Special thanks go to Boffa Miskell for hosting us in their newly renovated offices, a great event space creating a warm and social atmosphere. And a further thankyou to Contrax for their generous sponsorship of this NZILA event. We look forward to the second 2x2 event to be held in October at Isthmus. . .. Everybody get thinking of those projects you would like to include!
