We’d like to alert members to a phishing email currently circulating, appearing to come from “Tracy Wang” of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

The email, with the subject line “meeting inquire for Shanghai Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development”, invites recipients to arrange a visit to New Zealand by a delegation in January 2027.

While the email may appear genuine, there are several red flags indicating that it is likely to be a scam.

Please do not reply to this email or click on any links contained within it. If you receive the email, we recommend deleting it or reporting it as phishing/spam.
