Call for EOIs: Group Mentors (Registration)

Get involved in the registration programme
We are looking for expressions of interest for Group Mentors for the Southern cohort (South Island), and an additional Group Mentor for the Northern cohort (Auckland/CNI)
The Group Mentor role's purpose is to guide a group of Graduate or Affiliate candidates through workshop-style sessions. You provide collective advice, peer learning opportunities and light-touch assessment to support their progress toward Registration.
NZILA’s Registration programme thrives when experienced members awhi emerging professionals. If you are keen to serve as a Group Mentor, ngā mihi — your tautoko helps grow confident, competent landscape architects across Aotearoa New Zealand.
Roles
There are a large number of candidates on the programme this year so we're looking to increase from one to two Group Mentors for each region to share the workload
- 2x Southern - will be supported through the handover by Jeremy Cooke
- 1 x Northern - will support Leigh Wilson with the Northern cohort
All 6 Group Mentors will connect regularly to ensure consistency of feedback and programming. NZILA national team support with documentation, coordination, communications, and seminar delivery.
Requirements
- A minimum 2 years experience as a Registered NZILA Landscape Architect.
- Be based in a South Island branch - Nelson-Marlborough, Canterbury-Westland, or Southern (for Southern cohort role)
- Be based in the CNI or Auckland branch regions (for the Northern role) .
