Thank you for joining the SGM
Ngā mihi nui to everyone who joined us for yesterday’s Special General Meeting, and to those who sent in their proxy votes. We appreciate your time and engagement in this important step for our organisation.
We’re pleased to share that the motion to adopt the updated Constitution was passed. This means Tuia Pito Ora New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects will now proceed with lodging the new Constitution with the Companies Office under the Incorporated Societies Act 2022.
This update ensures we continue to operate in line with current legislation and best practice governance standards, and it positions Tuia Pito Ora strongly for the years ahead.
If you have ideas or proposed changes for future consideration, remits for constitutional or governance updates can be submitted ahead of the AGM in June 2026. Details on how to do this will be shared closer to the time.
Once the filing is complete, we’ll share a final copy of the approved Constitution on our website for all members to view.
