Call for content on Landscape Architecture Aotearoa

Landscape Architecture Aotearoa is the e-magazine dedicated to bringing you interesting and up to date stories from the profession and related industries.
Have you got a story or project to share? We're calling for your content! Stephen Olsen, LAA's lead writer and curator, can help with an angle and assist with shaping your story. We're looking for general interest landscape pieces, interesting and innovative projects or ways of working, environmental or cultural success stories. If you have an idea, let us know.
Share your story
LAA provides contributors with a platform for elevating your story to a wide-reaching audience. We welcome all suggestions, ideas and proposals for story content.
- Articles vary from < 500 to 1000+ words (no fixed word limit)
- We freely offer collaborative writing input and guidance along with assistance with the general aspects of curating contributed content
- All contributed content should come with a selection of hi res, royalty free imagery (image credits will always be included where required)
- We do not pay for content

- Submissions will always be considered, but please make contact with Stephen first
Content we're seeking
- Interviews with landscape architecture practitioners at all career stages
- Innovative projects featuring related story angles and themes
- Up-and-coming student success stories and articles focused on new research and educational news
- Snippets about trends and international happenings
- Feature articles about awards, competitions and historical milestones
- Summary overviews of conference events and presenter profiles
- Opinion pieces that increase the understanding of issues of current significance and/or wide environmental and societal impacts
- Reviews of relevant books and exhibitions
- Image-based caption stories
Share your technical expertise
We're also introducing a technical section on Landscape Architecture Aotearoa. Claim CPD points for contributing your work - do you have a whitepaper or technical project you want to share? Have you written an internal company blog that deserves more eyes? Have you submitted a conference submission you want to get published more broadly? This is your platform to share your writing and technical expertise.
