We are delighted to announce that Leonard Ng will be joined by moderator Don Royds for the May Streetscapes Webinar Series.
For those who don't know, Leonard Ng is Country Market Director, APAC for Henning Larsen with an internationally acclaimed portfolio. In 2023, he was conferred the President's Design Award - Designer of the Year, highest honour across all design disciplines in Singapore.
Leonard’s academic background and design interest lay at the juncture between man and his environment with the aim of finding a long-term sustainable balance between them.
His approach involves extensive collaboration with diverse professions to foment holistic landscape-based solutions that engage and educate users while respecting the environment. His works feature design integrating water found on-site with the surrounding urban development in a sensitive manner, which most notably include: Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park, Kampung Admiralty, Jurong Lake Gardens, ABC Waters Masterplan, and Lim Chu Kang AgriFood Hub Master Plan. An article on Leonard's achievements can be read here.
Leonard received his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Lincoln University.

With this in mind, we approached Don Royds from Lincoln Uni to act as Leonard's host for the webinar.
Don is a New Zealand landscape architect who worked in the United Kingdom and Aotearoa New Zealand before joining the staff at the School of Landscape Architecture, Lincoln University where he currently teaches Digital Design Tools, Landscape Practicum, Site Design, and Professional Practice. He is passionate about finding new and innovative ways for designers to work and interact with geospatial data to help make informed design decisions.
We hope you can join us for the webinar. There will be a Q&A session at the end of Leonard's presentation.
