Lincoln University Prizewinners for the 2022 Year

On Thursday 2 March the Lincoln University student's successes were celebrated with the presentation of the NZILA Student Awards at the annual Canterbury/Westland Branch AGM held at the Botanic Glasshouse. Branch Chair, Matt Lester presented the following awards:
NZILA Award of Excellence 2022 - Best student in the second to last year
Isabelle Hammond-Ussher
NZILA Award of Excellence 2022 - Best student in the third to last year
Daniel Watt
The following award winner was unable to attend the event and will collect her award at a later date.
NZILA/Robin Gay Award 2022
Isobel Happy
Robin Gay, the namesake of this award was a NZILA Life Member who passed away in December 2008. Mr Gay was honoured with Life Membership of the Institute during 2001 in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the development of the Institute and that of the landscape architecture profession. He was also Vice-President of IFLA (International Federation of Landscape Architects) in the early 1980s.
