A message from the NZILA President
As the ongoing effects of Cyclone Gabrielle continue to reverberate up and down Aotearoa I wanted to check in once again with members, including many who have been significantly affected by this unprecedented weather event.
The full extent of damage and cost has yet to be revealed but as only the third ever National State of Emergency continues, life and work will be disrupted and that will of course include our profession.
But as the country begins to recover we will strengthen our work in the climate change area which will include striving to have our voices heard in the ongoing conversation around rebuilding communities and healthy cities.
