Volunteers needed!
As in 2010, and again in 2015, Auckland Council are about to embark on a study of public spaces and public life in the city centre, and need your help.
The study will measure the changes to public life since their last survey, register what public life looks like right now, and inform what we need to do over the coming years, to ensure that Tāmaki Makaurau continues to be a city for people!
Contact:
Send us an email with ‘Auckland Public Life Survey’ in the subject line and they will get right back to you with everything you need to know.

What they need:
They need reliable volunteers, who can give 4-hours of their time and energy, to team up with Auckland Council & Urban Good, and help deliver the 2023 Tāmaki Makaurau City Centre Public Life Survey.
In exchange, they will provide you with:
- training in human-centred urban research methods;
- coffee to fuel your shift;
- entry to win 1 of 5 spot book prizes;
- a certificate to thank you for your time & energy; and
- good times, from start to finish!
When:
The surveys run across two days:
Wednesday 15th March & Saturday 18th March, 2023.
Choose whichever day works for you, or sign up for both.
Interested and available? Want to find out more? Drop them a line, they’d love to hear from you!
