For Landscape Architects with an accredited BLA wanting to achieve their MLA
Lincoln University is offering FREE TUITION, again this year for Landscape Architects with an accredited BLA wanting to achieve their MLA via course work and a small dissertation. The programme is only two semesters in length.
FREE TUITION is also available for those with a University degree who don’t have an accredited BLA. Our 240 MLA programme is only two years in length and gives you all the knowledge and skills you need to practice. Please contact Dr. Wendy McWilliam wendy.mcwilliam@lincoln.ac.nz if you would like more information on either programme.
If you are interested in pursuing a one year MLA by research (no coursework) this year (semester 1 starts February 21st), you might be interested in applying for our Mai mai waterway centre for freshwater management scholarship. The scholarship provides $7,800 to cover your tuition. You will also receive a further $2,000 in additional funding to cover any research costs you might incur, like travel costs. The research you will conduct will be focused on evaluating alternative designs for mitigating recreation-related impacts on saltwater marshes in New Zealand. For more information on the scholarship, see here or contact Dr. Wendy McWilliam here.
You can apply for your MLA by research at any time, but we are accepting applications for this particular scholarship now, for a semester 1 start.
