Elena Helliwell
Elena has recently taken the job of Intermediate Urban Designer at Isthmus Group. She will be assisting in designing neighbourhoods and communities. Elena is passionate about the pursuit of advancing land, people and culture in an environment that encourage innovation and risk taking. She loves challenging the traditional lines between Landscape Architecture and Urban Design.
Elena has always had a passion for improving and challenging the design of the public realm to encourage the health and well being of culture, social structure and economic development.
After graduating from Lincoln University with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture back in 2016, she first stared her career at Boffa Miskell working in the Urban Design Team but felt she wanted to explore more open space and park design. After three years in the Open Space Design Team she decided she had a strong passion for Urban Design and wanted to seek a role in that area.
Elena is thoroughly enjoying her time at Isthmus Group and is looking forward to the future projects and challenges ahead.
