Who Got That Job?

Kate Males
At the end of last year, local landscape architecture collective welcomed Kate Males to their team in Wellington. Kate has joined as Principal and will assist local Directors Mark and Dan to oversee the ten strong team of Landscape Architects on a wide range of projects including masterplans and public realm redevelopments, as well as multi-unit housing, commercial and residential developments.
Kate received her degree in landscape architecture from Leeds Beckett University, UK in 1998. With 20 years’ experience as a Landscape Architect with a focus on high quality public realm design, Kate has worked on a range of projects from public waterfronts, urban parks, educational institutions and residential projects in the UK, USA, China and, for the past 10 years gaining enjoyable and invaluable experience with Wraight & Associates, Wellington.
local is a new collective of established Landscape Architects with a commitment to advancing our experience and respect of our surroundings through collaboration and creativity. Together with a network of likeminded specialists we respond to local needs with bespoke design teams conceived around unique project requirements.
