Intergrain Timber Awards
On September 20 Grant Bailey was flown to Melbourne by Dulux to attend the Intergrain Timber Awards breakfast along with 80 architects and industry people, Kopupkaka Reserve won the Landscape Category. While in Melbourne Grant had the opportunity to visit a number of sites and Lyons Studio in the CBD.
IFLA Awards
Isthmus is delighted to announce that Kopupaka Reserve and Taumanu Reserve have both received accolades at the 10th IFLA Asia Pacific Landscape Awards 2017.
Sean Burke travelled to Thailand representing Isthmus (and the Pacific). He picked up no less than five of these prestigious awards for two Auckland projects:
Kopupaka Reserve:
Award of Excellence in the Cultural and Urban Landscape Category
Outstanding Award in the Infrastructure Category
Honourable Mention in the Parks and Open Space Category
Taumanu Reserve:
Outstanding Award in the Infrastructure Category
Outstanding Award in the Parks and Open Space Category
The International Federation of Landscape Architects Asia Pacific Region hosted the Landscape Architecture Awards and inaugural LA luminary Awards Ceremony on 4th November 2017 at the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park Hotel. The Awards aim to “create a stronger awareness and recognition of landscape architecture as one of the key professions that has played a key role in shaping our cities and our environments towards a better, more resilient future”.
