13 NZILA Award winning projects were presented by their designing companies
Despite being a short week, 55 people made their way to Jasmax, for the Post Awards Evening; where thirteen NZILA Award winning projects were presented by their designing companies. Introduced by Mike Thomas of Jasmax, and Henry Crothers (Branch Chair), the evening also included conferral of registration certificates to those locals who didn’t make it to the AGM in Wellington last month.
While we will be more careful to police allocated speech times in future, the collection of presentations were wide ranging and very entertaining; a real celebration of the breadth and depth of what we do.
The students present in particular enjoyed seeing their heroes share insights into the projects they had studied and admired, while all enjoyed the convivial atmosphere and food. Our thanks to Masterspec and Jasmax for their support of this function.
