Senior Landscape Architect

We are seeking a talented and experienced Landscape Architect to join our Tāmaki Makaurau studio. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys collaborating across disciplines and contributing to high-quality, innovative projects across Aotearoa.

The opportunity
You will be working in a collaborative studio environment alongside a multi-disciplinary team of landscape, urban design & architectural professionals. You will play a key role in the planning, design, and delivery of landscape projects across a range of sectors. The role offers autonomy, leadership opportunities, and involvement from concept through to construction as an integral part of our expanding landscape team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and contribute to landscape design projects across all project design and delivery phases.
- Prepare high-quality design reports, drawings, and visual material.
- Engage with clients, consultants, mana whenua, and local authorities.
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver integrated outcomes across a range of project scales and types.
About you
- Creative and rigorous design thinking.
- Experience across a range of project scales and types, including urban public realm and master planning. Knowledge of Water Sensitive Design strategies and techniques an advantage.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the technical aspects of landscape architecture.
- Strong understanding of New Zealand planning frameworks, standards, and consenting processes.
- Highly proficient in a range of landscape design software including Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with other 3D and visualisation software an advantage.
- Excellent verbal, written and graphical communication skills.
- 6-10 years professional experience as a Landscape Architect.
- NZILA registered or equivalent preferred.
