Expression of Interest for NZILA Auckland Registration Program 2021

The NZILA Auckland Registration Program Co-ordinators will be holding an initial Workshop to outline the Registration process, and Candidate requirements for the 2021 Program.

Candidates looking to complete the professional NZILA Registration process in 2021, and those interested in undertaking the NZILA Registration process at a later date are encouraged to attend.

In this initial workshop, we will give an overview of Program requirements, and identify dates for Candidate Workshops, Subm isions of Workbooks and the Professional Core Competency Seminars.

Seminars will be facilitated by experts across each field, to provide an opportunity for focused learning and will include:

Ethics and Professional Development Seminar: The legal and professional obligations of Registered Members in relationship to Clients, fellow professionals and the profession more generally.

The Legislative Context Seminar: The extent and application of Legislation and Standards relating to the landscape, and the whenua more generally.

Practice Management Seminar: The organisation, administration and management of landscape practice including client relationships and professional responsibilities.

Contract Administration: Application of NZS:3910 and related contractual requirements ; administering contracts during Tendering and construction delivery of Landscape Architecture and Urban Design projects.

Resources to support the candidates such as FAQ’s, previous examples of candidate workbooks and study resources will be made available to those who attend.
