About
In 2020 construction began on a 35 million litre water reservoir above the Prince of Wales Park upper field to ensure water supply resilience and drinking water to the CBD and eastern suburbs. The reservoir had to be buried and revegetated as required by the Town Belt Management Plan.
Boffa Miskell has been closely involved in the project that began in 2016 and which is now in the 3rd year of maintenance for planting.
Steve Dunn will guide the reservoir walkover and give background on the challenges in constructing steep slopes and establishing native vegetation on this sensitive site.
Join everyone for BYO drinks after at Bebemos (88 Riddiford Street, Newton).
