Events Calendar

The School of Landscape Architecture at Beijing Forestry University (BFU) launched the 2021 BFU LA MASTER TALKS series of activities in September 2021. The 1st and the 2nd session were successfully held on September 29th and October 9th. The event totally received more than 16,000 views from audience at home and abroad.

This series of activities serves as a sharing and exchange platform integrating teaching, academic exchanges and practice. Free to the public, it builds a bridge of dialogue between masters and practitioners, and unites schools and industrial forces to conduct in-depth discussions and collision of thoughts on the new design ideas and cases emerging in landscape architecture planning and design practice in recent years, and jointly promote the prosperity and development of the landscape architecture discipline.

In the third session, BFU will invite Cecil Konijnendijk, professor of Urban Forestry at the University of British Columbia, program director of the Master of Urban Forestry Leadership. He is also the editor-in-chief of Arboriculture and Urban Forestry and Co-director of Nature Based Solutions Institute.

Theme:
Enhancing the nexus between urban forestry and landscape architecture for greener, healthier and more resilient cities.

The third session will be launched online at 19:00-21:00 (GMT+ 8) on October 15, 2021 (Friday).
