Join the authors of the 2025 NZ Fish Passage Guidelines for a hands-on workshop focused on designing fish-passable culverts.
Participants will work through practical examples using HY-8 and HEC-RAS while exploring:
- Culvert embedment design
- Velocity profile assessment
- Stream simulation approaches
- Solutions for challenging environments
Engineers, ecologists, planners, and freshwater practitioners are encouraged to attend. Participants are welcome to bring laptops for active involvement.
