Together with our partners, WE-EF, MHL invites you to an insightful online workshop hosted by Jean-Cecil Gaillot, GLSD Manager and Lecturer in Lighting Design at the University of Lyon. 

In this session, Jean-Cecil will share valuable insights into France’s progressive approach to night-sensitive lighting and dark sky preservation, covering:

·         The evolution of lighting policies in France

·         Shifting colour temperature trends – from 3000 K to 2700 K and 2200 K

·         Black ‘corridors’ and wildlife-sensitive lighting

·         Environmental benefits – reducing light pollution

·         Innovative solutions for dark sky preservation
