Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency are offering a two-day industry training course focussing on planning and design of bus infrastructure.

Bus services carry the bulk of public transport passengers and yet the requirements for accessible, safe and efficient bus infrastructure are often overlooked.

This two-day practical workshop will introduce the New Zealand Public Transport Design Guidance (PTDG) and the key principles for designing high-quality, people-focused bus infrastructure. We will use live examples to understand what best practice looks like and the issues that can arise if we do not get the design right.

This workshop will be of interest to anyone involved in planning, design, reviewing and implementing public transport projects.
