Invitation to VAKA Speaker Series "First Lady"

VAKA is a speaker series platform for the Indigenous people of Oceania to share ideas, skills and experience through storytelling.

"First Lady" is Vaka's inaugural event showcasing some dynamic Mana Wāhine of Oceania. Daisy Lavea-Timo (Daisy Speaks) will lead a talanoa about the innovation, adaptability, creative and collaborative thought processes of these change makers.
 
The feature speakers are:

  1. Dannette Aperahama- Tiatia - Strengthfinders Coach, SCOPE assessor & Māori Cultural Competency Teacher.
  2. Sina Tait - Director, Chartered professional engineer and senior design manager, board member of Engineering NZ.
  3. Ella Guillemot-Mene- 2018 Deputy Head Girl St Andrews College, Singer and Songwriter.
  4. Pandora Togiaso- Commonwealth Gold Medalist in Powerlifting & Branch Manager (Kiwi Bank)
     

The session will conclude with an interactive panel discussion with all of the Mana Wāhine.
